By any definition, 2012 has been a banner year for Shadowrun fans around the globe. From a slew of tabletop books from Catalyst Game Labs, to the fantastically run Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter from Harebrained Schemes, to the current Shadowrun Online Kickstarter by Cliffhanger Productions: if you’re a fan of the mean streets of the Sixth World sprawls, there’s something here for you.
But what books are coming next from Catalyst? What will gameplay be like for Shadowrun Returns? How exactly will Shadowrun Online interact with the tabletop storyline, allowing fans to affect the universe like never before?
2013 will be THE Year of Shadowrun, and the best place to find out about all the excitement ahead is at the Gen Con “What’s Up With Shadowrun?” seminar. Jason Hardy, Catalyst Game Labs’ Shadowrun Tabletop Line Developer, will be joined by Jordan Weisman and Mitch Gitelman from Harebrained Schemes to talk about what’s ahead for their products. Additionally, we’ll have exciting details from Cliffhanger Productions to share; we’ll also be trying to plug Jan Wagner, Managing Director of Cliffhanger Productions, directly into the seminar via video conference … but no promises just yet.
Where: Indiana Convention Center, room 243
When: Friday, August 17th, 12:00 PM
