So I have been busting my hoop on my first mission and I finally think it's ready to be played (albiet still in need of some polish). There are still some issues, but some of them are due to the editor, while others just need to be touched up, but I think you will get the bulk of the final mission. I do appreciate any feedback:
Great map-design. Looking at your apartment, I'm reading the attitude of your character: "I don't care about fancy furnitures, as long as I have my top-notch trid-system!" :-)
I know there are still some parts that need to be tweaked, and some parts are waiting on the final release of the game, but I will be posting my current build of the mission tomorrow. This is a complete mission starting with character creation and all the way though your objectives.
@Rusalka Mission Posted. Check the original post for the download link.
Testing now: so far man, it's pretty great. I think I ran into an error in the quest logic. Right after you defeat the assailants at apartment 504 if you leave the building the quest resets to the "Find the sister" goal and places all the NPCS and dialogues to their initial position. Also there's an error with Discount Dirk. He does not give the medpacks he promises :) I'm going to try and run through it again to see if I can replicate the aforementioned errors.
All told though, I absolutely love the sidequests and random encounters. Great job so far! ^_^
Looks fraggin' amazing! I'm so glad there were people that managed to get early access to the Editor, now when the game launches (soon right?? soon?? :D) there will be a nice selection of custom Runs premade for us unwashed paupers that didn't donate enough to join in the fun :)
@McDougle - I will include the ability to import a character when the full game comes out.
@Rusalka - Thanks! I'm glad people are having fun with it. With Dirk and the health packs, When it switches you to your equip screen, you have to select the item slots to see the Medpacks. After defeating the Assault team the mission is over, I just don't have a way to end it. I didn't want to do a camera fade out, cause then you have to restart the game to do anything else.

Ah cool. So not an error but a "feature" ;) It might be rad, as an alternative to a fade out, to return to Boris and have a post mission re-cap (wherein you can complain that you never got paid) and then have some GM text that gives you a "mission complete".
Man this game just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter. I am really getting a tad psyched about playing it. and playing with it. Great work :) keep it coming.
hmm well i got a invite to help out but till i get a copy of the editor and try it out i rather not commmit and not beable to help lol. i do however got ton fo the old books and love to help out once i get some pratice in.
First praised UGC mission comes out weeks before the game is released AND it doesn't suck. You, sir, deserve congratulations. (And praise for an enjoyable mission, if I say so myself.)
@Loserific Thanks man, I really appreciate it. Sorry you got ventilated before the fight even started, I didn't consider someone walking in there with no health. Should have hit up the Street Doc first. Seriously though, with the new build of the engine, hopefully I can polish it up some this weekend and get the money and shops working.

Very encouraging to see people putting out stuff that looks this interesting only a few days after the editor has been out.
Can't wait to equip a baseball bat. Swords are nice, delivering hilarious street justice with a bat is better.

GREAT flavor text and awesome dark Shadowrun humor- I love it. :)
It´s cool to see how everything changed since I tested it first.
Edit: It´s kinda like a paper chase for adults (even if you feel like a neophyte, too ;) ). The synopsis was neat.
